HTC TyTN - When Communication Goes Hi-Tech

HTC TyTN - Super 3G Smartphone

Purchasing a Smartphone had been on my priority list for a long time. I knew that HTC is a reputed brand name in the Smartphone sector. However, I was a bit confused about which model to go for.

Last week, I came across the latest HTC TyTN (pronounced as 'Titan') handset in one of the mobile shops. HTC has coined a very unusual (but definitely intelligent) name 'Titan' for this product...indeed a smart move and a calculated marketing strategy!!

I was really enchanted by the visually-appealing green shade that HTC has chosen as its corporate colour in its Smartphone products.

TyTN is comparatively slimmer and has a flatter design than the previous HTC models, such as the HTC Wizard. It fitted into my pocket neatly.

It has a cleverly-hidden keyboard. I never realised that TyTN has so much in store within its small, compact design! It is really a pleasurable experience to browse through, create and edit official documents (Microsoft's Word, Excel and PowerPoint) using the QWERTY keyboard just with my thumbs.

Support for tri-band UMTS with 3G capabilities is a great feature as this will offer global roaming facility. This is what is essential for me as I am on business tours most of the time.

In a nutshell, I found HTC TyTN to be a 'Smartphone' in real sense!
